Pathway Garden
RHS Chelsea Flower Show
Photography

Commissioned by Modular Landscape Architects, this photographic series captures The Pathway Garden, a show garden designed by Allon Hoskin and Robert Beaudin for the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. Created in collaboration with the charity Pathway, the garden is a celebration of how horticulture can inspire wellbeing, provide sanctuary, and drive meaningful social impact.

Allon Hoskin, Co-founder and Managing Director at Modular, brings over 35 years of experience in the landscape sector, and is a respected RHS Chelsea judge.

Designer Robert Beaudin, a seasoned landscape architect with global experience, led the creative development of the garden’s design. Together, they shaped a tranquil, structured space that invites reflection and a sense of movement—both physical and emotional.

The garden’s design features a clean, flowing pathway punctuated by tactile stonework, sculptural forms, and rich, layered planting. My role was to translate the nuance of this space into a visual narrative—capturing both the crisp detail of the hardscape and the softness of the planting in changing light.

Aerial imagery captured by drone added another dimension to the story, revealing the garden’s geometry and layout from above—perspectives that amplify the clarity and intention behind the design.

This commission exemplifies the synergy between landscape and lens—where photography preserves the ephemeral beauty of a show garden and celebrates the thought, craft, and collaboration behind its creation.
